(January 1, 2017) The Rogues, Memphis's new expansion team in the Major Soccer League named John Netjam, native born Memphian and former manager of Nottingham Forest to the managers position. 

"I am excited and thrilled to be a part of professional soccer after an absence of 37 years coming back to Memphis!" said Netjam who continued, "It will be an honor to lead the Rogues in the MLS. 

When asked by a reporter about the squad Netjam replied "A great lineup, especially for an expansion team has been put together by our owner Mr Fogleman and our GM Mike Morris. I might have signing here or there but the squad is solid."
